Meets are coming so fast now that it is hard to post the news fast enough. We had a great meet in Oregon. We ended up scoring one of our best away scores ever, a 197.15. Great events of the evening were floor(49.425) and vault(49.575). However it would be hard not to recognize the great night we had on beam. Not only did we not have to count a fall we hit 6 sets in a row. This meet was a great opportunity for all the teams competing to experience a meet run exactly like regionals. Regionals being just around the corner the timing couldn't have been better. I have been asked by the media on several occations, who is the star of our show. The fact of the matter is, i'm not sure we have one. What we have is a team with great senior leadership who wants to be the best they can be and are willing to put out the effort. This team truly looks to improve in each meet we are in. The Salbassgeon Invitational was a great meet run in true OSU fashion. Excellence in every part of the event. From the luncheon before the meet (where Dr. Will Kiem thrilled the athletes with a great speech) to the pizza party after. OSU and the Salbassgeon Suites Hotel truly outdid themselves.
