2004 Regionals Posted by Brad Catternole 3/23/2004 BYU #1 seed in the Central Region Seedings for regionals have been released and Nationally ranked #6 BYU is heading for Baton Rouge Louisiana as the # 1 seed in the Central Regional. The other seeded teams in our region are #7 Louisiana State, #17 Arizona State. #23 Auburn and #24 Kent State and #26 Michigan State will also compete in this region. We are very excited to be going to LSU. LSU has a fine gymnastics tradition and are a perenial NCAA National Competitor. All the teams in this region have had very solid seasons. The teams that advance from this region to the National Championship will have to bring their "A" game to regionals. We feel very fortunate to have ended the season as strong as we did, however all this very strong season did is get us a nice seed at the Regional Championship. Starting now it is an all new adventure. No team in our region can be taken for granted as they have all shown the ability to beat anyone on a given night. We are working very hard to be well prepared for Friday the 2nd of April 2004.
